Did you know Michigan....actually Traverse City ,is the Cherry "Captial of the World". Petoskey is where Earnest Hemming spent his youth. It's city also is charming with all the gas lights downtown.
Michigan is also where some of the great stained-glass is made. We visited a shop, which was owned by woman who are nationally renowned artist.
Leland Michigan had this darling place called "Fish-Town" which is a National Landmark and is home to an authentic Great Lakes fishing tug. Ancient ice and fish shanties now house an operating fish house. Michigan is so filled with beauty and wonderment, I'm impressed and surprised every day.
