Green Turtle Marina.....busy...busy

This is Green Turtle Bay Marina in Kentucky, on the Cumberland River. All the boats on the loop seem to head for this Marina to rest ...leave their boats and fly or drive home for awhile....or leave them for the winter and continue the loop in the Spring. It's a place to meet up with old friends from along the way and catch up on how their trips are going. It is also close to "Patti's Restaurant and 1880 Settlement". The entire small town with nice shops and the restaurant are famous.....excellent food (2 inch pork chops are their speciality) and unbelievable pies... We shared a meal and still brought home leftovers...that did NOT go to waste. Hey, this place won Southern Living Magazine's Reader's Choice Award for Best Small Town Restaurant in Southeast US. I thought it might be "too Cutzie" to have good food....but the food was fresh and very tasty. A must stop along the way.....
From here we took a detour and headed to Nashville Tennessee.
