What I liked about New Jersey

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................

In all fairness to the State of New Jersey, I KNOW there are many beautiful places to visit there....after all, it is called the garden state. It was just so tough going on the ICW from Cape May to Manasquan (which did look pretty from the water). If you were lucky to have 4 feet of water, it was a good day. We had to anchor during one day and wait for the tide to come in because it was only 3 feet. Then even when the tide was IN, we ran aground. Like I said, not a fun place to travel through.

And what's with the flies New Jersey!!!! The incessant creatures nearly drove us nuts. James had a difficult time steering as I leaped up and down trying to kill the entire population of the beasts. They were all bite and goodness knows, "OFF" didn't phase them...they just went for the face when the Off was too thick on our legs and arms. We stayed in Atlantic city....I have always wanted to visit there. They bill themselves as the Las Vegas of the north...........I don't think so!!!!!! It was rather depressing....... Las Vegas is alive and fun.....Atlantic city was scary, it was so empty....no one was in the rather gaudy casinos. There were no patrons cheering or smiling.
