A Haven in New Jersey

Okay, so I did find one pretty town while I was there. It was called Beachhaven and it had wide streets and very pretty houses with lovely flower gardens. Also, the house to the left, which is actually on an Island close to Beachhaven, was once owned by the Post Family (cereal fame). Mr. Post bought it from the City of Beachhaven in the 1950's for $50 dollars. He started building a mansion for his wife (we like him don't we ladies!!!). Anyway, she died before it was completed and the building stopped. Years later they started building again, only to have Mr. Post die. The family had to keep it for years because when Mr. Post bought the island, the contract stipulated it had to stay in the family. Just recently, the city gave permission for the Post family to sell it to an architect, who finished it out. He was suppose to have a grand 4th of July party and fireworks display there to celebrate it's completion but that never happened. I enjoyed hearing that story....so you see, I did find something I liked about New Jersey.
