Holiday Blues - June 25th

Here we are leaving the Portsmouth, Norfolk area. We developed a leak in our starboard fuel injector pump. Since it was the Holiday coming up with no one working the following week (at least not in the Fuel Injector Pump World), we traveled to Deltaville on the 26th.....only to discover no one there could work on it there either....way too behind on their busy summer and ....with the Holiday coming up....Impossible. We left there and came to the Solomons Islands. What a stroke of luck....not only is this a beautiful place but they could help us at least get the injector pulled. Then we had to personally take it to Baltimore the following Monday. The name of the place where we had to go was the "Arundel Fuel Services". Of course, James donned his "Arundel hat" and pleaded for Mercy in getting it fixed and back asap. How could anyone refuse such an affable fellow such as James. They fixed it and as we speak (Thursday), they are re-installing it.
