After we went through the Harvey Lock and down the Mississippi river through the Industrial Lock, we traveled to Rabbit Island and anchored for the night. The next morning it was raining so James got suited up to pull the anchor. Needless to say the minute he stepped outside the rain stopped but I loved the outfit..
We entered the Mississippi Sound in 3foot seas but the sun came out , the seas calmed so the run to Biloxi was easy. Stayed two days in Biloxi, James did oil and filter change. We found a great little restaurant named Schooners where the locals go. The food was great........place was packed and the presentation made you wonder if Emril was in the kitchen.
Riding around the city did break your heart though.........all the beautiful homes and sites on Hwy 90....vanished. But Biloxi will return....her people sure have the heart.
On Friday, April 20th, we travel to Ingram Bayou In light chop but sunny. Mobile Bay and into Bon Secoure Bay....light chop and beam sea, 1 1/2 to 2/12 all day - lots of rock and roll!!
