After crossing Lake Michigan, we were just too tired to continue to our next destination.....so James called the Lock Master and asked if we could tie up on the side of the lock and spent the night.....as he put it....two elderly, tired people. Of course they fell for his charm and said sure....no problem....sleep tight and we'll see you in the morning. This was the sign outside our door where we tied up......
