In Georgian Bay, there are 30,000 islands. A lot of them are privately owned and have summer cottages on them. Some of them are "Bald"...saw one with a cottage on it....seemed a little too "out there" for my taste"....bet they got it for a good price though. Anyway, many we saw were vacant. Some of them are owned by Americans. Most who own them tend to pass them down to family members through the years.
