Wonderful Waterford

We really fell in love with this town. The locals jog here at the Marina, they gather at night to visit with the boaters and their friends. They bring their dogs..........it was very nice here. Add to that, all the very friendly boaters and it made for a great stay........we stayed 5 days.

The Harbor Master came out to visit with everyone and asked James if he would take him for a spin, he had never steered a two engine boat and wanted to try it. They had a nice outing....I sat on the pier reading and "guarding our spot" as this is an extremely popular boating place. Actually the Harbor Master had a yellow taple placed across our space so no one would take it. Trust me, I still had several boaters ask me if they could park there.....

They had several tug boats here. The Tug Boat Round-up is on Labor Day and it attracts 25,000 plus people. Wonderful old neighborhoods and good restaurants....what more could you ask for.................
