As we entered Annapolis harbor, a large group of Cadets were marching (picture on right). You can barely see them... they are on the left....mostly it looks like a line of CARS marching. Oh well....you really need to BE in Annapolis to appreciate it's beauty because....beautiful it is!!!! It was so crowded the first day we arrived, we had to go past the bridge and up the river to anchor. There were so many ships out circling the mooring balls, we looked like a bunch of sharks. We discovered one of the reasons it was so crowded was so many weddings were taking place at Harbor Town . Seems as though all the young married couples wanted to be wed on that day....7/07/07. A Good Omen!!!! Let's hope so.
We moved to the harbor the second day and spent the day walking around the town. It was extremely interesting and charming. I did manage to walk up to the State Capital....a little too up hill for Jim. Of course I had to have a Maryland crab cake and yes, it was worth the wait....
We both wish we could have stayed a little longer but we're still a little behind our schedule.
