He's such a good sport!!!!

Okay, so I couldn't resist begging James to stand in front of THIS store. The dark glasses are meant to hide his Identity I suppose but we'd recognize that big mug anywhere!! This was beautiful Beaufort North Carolina and because we arrived there on a weekend....the town was all but shut down. No tours, very few stores opened.....I did manage a great fudge store. Anyway we went to the Mariner's Museum and it was interesting but I passed on the Boat Making Shop....fudge is definitely more appealing to me.
We have had the pleasure of having a guest on board named Allen Loken(pictures later). He's a retired dentist from Minnisota and has been "bird watching" for over twenty years. What a treasure we have found in him. He gives us a guided tour of "birds" every day and it gives James and I great pleasure to learn from him. At first James teased him and told him he was probably making up the names....but in time even James showed interest and points out a few birds himself. Allen also took us out to dinner in Beaufort at a restaurant called "Shuckers". The seafood was unbelievably good.....all three meals were outstanding.
